Pumpkin and frozen banana blended with almond beverage, almond butter, and vanilla protein powder with a dash of pumpkin pie spice. This Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake is the perfect Fall treat for a breakfast or snack option.
Hello, my name is Andrea and I’m a pumpkin addict. While no addiction is ideal, this is one that I have zero shame about, especially since it’s mainly a seasonal thing. By now, you can also tell that I love protein shakes. They are such a fun and super yummy way to play with different flavors, fruits, and textures. So, with that said, you know that I had to create a Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake! If I may say so myself, it’s SO freaking tasty, it’s been bringing me all of the Fall and Halloween vibes lately and I’m here for it.
Pumpkin gets a poor reputation because it’s mainly served in dessert form with a million carbohydrates and added sugars. I get it. But let’s not ignore that pumpkin is extremely nutrient dense and offers several health benefits, so if you want my opinion, we all should be adding it into our diet more often. I decided to create a pumpkin treat that highlights pumpkin’s natural taste, with a hint of sweet and a dash of pumpkin pie spice WITHOUT ruining your nutrition/weight goals. Protein shakes can be a great way to create a dessert-like meal in under 5 minutes that is nutritionally balanced, filling, and can curb any sweet tooth. I hope you love it as much as I do!
