Cacao and chocolate protein powder blended with peanut butter, banana, and collagen. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Collagen Protein Shake is a nutrient-dense sweet treat that’s perfect for a breakfast, snack or dessert.
Is there even a more tasty combo than chocolate and peanut butter?! I don’t think so. It’s just so, so yummy! If you follow me on instagram then you know that I am currently doing The Turning Point Challenge (TTPC). TTPC is a 30-day fitness and nutrition challenge that really promotes getting you back in the swing of things with your fitness and nutrition goals. After my recent move to beautiful Huntington Beach, CA, I wanted to turn it up a notch with my workouts and nutrition, TTPC was the perfect solution. With that being said, I’ve been limiting – not eliminating, the sweets in my life to promote healthy food selections and more balanced nutrition. Yes, I’m practicing what I preach. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Collagen Protein shake has been giving me life during this challenge and is my go-to sweet treat!
Between the delicious chocolate flavor from the cacao powder and protein powder, the nutty taste from the peanut butter, and the creaminess from the banana and coconut collagen creamer – I feel like this may be the best protein shake I’ve created thus far! Some might think I’m crazy for adding a powdered coffee creamer to a protein shake, but I swear to you it’s the secret weapon of this shake. The frozen banana and ice provide an ice cream texture, so if you’re wanting to use this chocolate peanut butter collagen shake as a dessert, it 100% is fitting. Also, let’s not forget ALL of the health benefits from the ingredients used in this bad boy (noted below). If you’re looking for something sweet yet nutty, filling, and PACKED with nutrients – this is it.

Sounds good but the carb count is way too high for a diabetic…
Andrea Marincovich, R.D.
Hi Rochel,
I appreciate your feedback but the carb count is more than fitting for a Diabetic. I have clients that drink this shake routinely and still manage blood sugar control. If you care for help on how I can help you with this as well, feel free to reach out.
